I'm moving from a mail client with no attachment file size limits, to a service that's limited to receiving attachments under a certain size. What should I do?

With Aid4Mail, you can easily choose to store these oversized attachments locally in a folder of your choice.

This will allow your migration to continue without any hassle. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Click the "Software" button on the lower left-hand corner of Aid4Mail, then click "IMAP Options" -> "Save Failed Uploads Locally"

  2. "Software" ->  "IMAP Options" -> "Local Folder for Failed Uploads" -> specify the folder where you would like these failed uploads to be saved

  3. "Software" ->  "IMAP Options" -> "Removed Oversized Attachments"

Please note: the above instructions only apply to moving to an IMAP mail service. This includes cloud-based services such as Gmail, Outlook.com, Office 365 and others.

If you would like information about how to limit PST output sizes, please see here: Is there a way to avoid a target PST file from exceeding its size limit?
