Yes! You can use Aid4Mail to migrate your mail to and from Comcast/Xfinity.
How to export your mail from Comcast/Xfinity to another mail application:
- Select IMAP in the "Mail Source" screen of Aid4Mail
- Populate the "IMAP Settings" with the following information:
o Server name: imap.comcast.net
o Port: 993 (or 143 if you are having trouble)
o Timeout: 90
o Connection security: SSL/TLS
o Namespace: default
o User name: your email address
o Password: your email account password - If configured correctly, you will see a list of your folders in the following screen. Here you can select the mail folders you wish to transfer.
- Follow the Aid4Mail wizard and select your "Target Settings" then start your migration.
How to import your mail to Comcast/Xfinity from another mail application:
- Select your current mail application/service in the "Mail Source" screen of Aid4Mail.
- Follow the Aid4Mail Wizard and populate the settings for your "Mail Source".
- Select "IMAP" as your "Target" in the "Target Settings".
- Populate the "IMAP Settings" with the following information:
o Server name: imap.comcast.net
o Timeout: 90
o Connection security: SSL/TLS
o Namespace: default
o User name: your email address
o Password: your email account password - If configured correctly, you will see a list of your folders in the following screen. Here you can select the mail folders you wish to set as your "Target IMAP Folder".
- Follow the Aid4Mail wizard and start your migration.
